WFWP is hosting a parallel event in conjunction with CSW62 titled "Engaging the rural family: The vital role of education." This event hopes to address the vital role education plays in rural communities and especially how it influences the empowerment of rural women and girls. In addition, WFWP hopes to highlight the imperative need of education for the family, which can then impact the growth and empowerment of all members of rural communities.
WFWP's parallel event is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 16th, 2018 from 10:30 to 11:45 am on the 2nd floor of the Church Center of the United Nations.
