AGE GROUP : 18 - 40 YEARS OLD

AGENDA 

DAY 1 : UN ADVOCACY TRAINING

The workshop shall cover topics such as : Introduction to Advocacy at the UN, The role of youth and their leadership at the UN, Obstacles for Youth leadership, Personality Development and Public Speaking, Negotiation and Mediation and Strategy building. The agenda involves the participation of the youth in the Social Forum at the UNOG, meeting with officials from UN Women, OHCHR, etc.

DAY 2 : YOUTH PEACE CONFERENCE

Take the role of world leaders and deliberate to reach a peace accord on the topic of "The role of Technology in Peacebuilding". This accord will then be published and shared at the UN Social Forum

DAY 3 & 4 : UN SOCIAL FORUM 

Take part as delegates of the WFWPI at the UN Social Forum 2023, a mandated body of the UN Human Rights Council in the UN Headquarters. Take the opportunity to make statements, organise a side event, publish your work as a peacebuilding committee through an agreed Peace Accord.

Fee : 650 Euros including registration fee, breakfast and accommodation for four nights in Geneva
