Mrs. Carolyn Handschin was elected for President of the NGO Committee on the Status of Women (NGOCSW) at the UN in Geneva

Congratulations to Mrs. Carolyn Handschin!!

It is my and our great pleasure to congratulate one of our very own international WFWP Vice President and Director of Office for UN Relations, Mrs. Carolyn Handschin, on having been elected to this very prominent position at the UN in Geneva!

She will serve for a period of 3 years from April 2021 to April 2024.

The Committee comprised of 24 well-known international NGO's represented organizations, all with UN ECOSOC status, voted unanimously to elect Mrs. Handschin.

This is a great achievement for WFWP International for the last 29 years that our leaders take an important role of NGOCSW.

We honor your great work and investment over many years at the UN, representing our Women’s Federation for World Peace in a most dignified, professional and authentic way!

The NGO Committee on the Status of Women, Geneva (NGO CSW Geneva) is a not-for-profit association established under Articles 60 et seq. of the Swiss Civil Code. The NGO CSW Geneva acts as a strategic platform for UN accredited Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO’s) with consultative status with ECOSOC for the advancement of human rights and the empowerment of women.
