OW Magazine Features Merly Barlaan’s Inspiring Journey as a Peace Advocate and Woman Leader

The Women of the World (WOW) magazine, Weekly Sparks on January 31, 2025 issue - featured the  journey of Merly Barlaan, WFWPI Vice President for Administration and Director of UN Relations Office in New York - her life story as a peace advocate, a mother and a woman leader. She shared her personal experiences of overcoming challenges in bringing the UN's vision of a unified world of peace down to the community level and integrating WFWPI's global development agenda on peace, reconciliation and healing of the people and planet. 

Ms. Barlaan received a scholarship on WOW's 6-week  Women in Policy Coaching Program by the recommendation of Ms. Ivanna dela Torre, Senior Director of Communications and Public Affairs of Coca-Cola Philippines.
