WFWP Angola extended its providential task beginning in the province of Cabinda with the first Provincial Conference, on March 17, 2018, at the FFWPU headquarters on the occasion of the UN International Women day.
The speakers at the main table were Mrs. Isabel de Fátima Bewa Simba, President of the WFWP Cabinda, Executive National Secretary, Mrs. Isabel Rita Canga, National Federation advisor, Mr. Silvano Mazunda Kihika, and the Coordinator for Women's Education, Mrs. Blandina Mobey Diogo.
The main theme of the conference was "Youth and Sexual Purity for a Lasting Peace", with sub-theme: "Teenagers and the first Love", developed by the speaker Mrs. Blandina Mobey Diogo, education counselor for the Women's Federation in Angola.
The conference was attended by 65 women members of the FFWPU in Cabinda, aged between 18 to 65; with the presence of the National Advisor of the WFWP Angola.
Mrs. Maria Filomena Moreira Rodrigues as the MC. After the opening prayer by Mrs. Pascoalina Funze Mangovo, the MC introduced the members of the presiding table. The President of the Woman Federation in Cabinda Mrs Isabel de Fátima Bewa Simba, read the welcome message to all audience in the conference, especially the WFWP Angola delegation from Luanda.
Next, we had a cultural moment, and Ms Olga presented a poem that says: "problems cannot be solved by intellect, but by love" which is taken from True Parents' words.
Then the president offered a holy song - our target is love and followed by other traditional songs that moved the atmosphere among the audience.
Mrs. Blandina Mubey, the speaker of the day, encouraged the participants in taking responsibility specially on the First Love the teenagers expedience in their life. In her lecture she stressed about the value and role of women for lasting Peace.
After that Executive Secretary presented the report of activities from 2016 - 2017 held in Luanda including the 2018 plan.
And finally, the advisor was invited, who spoke briefly about the main objective of the provincial conferences and the viable prospects for which woman are re-qualified with a view to assuming their role as a cornerstone for the development of the family and of the Nation in general.
Before closing the session, the delegation of Luanda made a symbolic act of donating two decorative cloth rolls to the Woman Federation of Cabinda. That is, in the person of the provincial president.
We ended the session with a warm prayer together, and the photographs of remembrance were shot.
