Celebration of Mother's Day and International Women's Day (WFWP Lebanon)

On March 21, WFWP Lebanon held a gathering of great women leaders. Among those present were a former Minister, a UN-affiliated woman who has been working with UNIFIL for many years, as well as several NGO Founders and leaders. There were 10 ladies in attendance together. Out of the 10 in attendance, two ladies were joining a WFWP event for the first time. 

Mrs. Hermine Schellen introduced WFWP and gave a summary of our WFWP activities worldwide. She also introduced the Co-founders of WFWP, the late Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon, and his wife, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. 

Following the intro, we held a very fruitful discussion. 
Each woman present shared her perspective on Lebanon and what we as women leaders can do in this time. The plan is to have follow-up meeting to discuss what kind of project we could collaborate on together under the umbrella of WFWP Lebanon. 

The meeting concluded with celebrating Mother's Day with a wonderful dinner.
All the ladies were so happy to come together during this event.
