The fourth Intercultural and Interreligious Children's Festival, "Children are Angels of Peace," was organized on November 26, 2022, by WFWP Russia, It took place on Mother's Day. The festival seeks to advance family and moral values, peace, and cross-cultural understanding, as well as knowledge of other cultures' spiritual and cultural values.
Children and families from many nationalities gathered to celebrate moms and one another by showcasing their cultural performances on this day. They had a wonderful chance to present their national identities and values and learn more about other cultures. “Motherly Love” and “World Peace” served as the event's primary themes.
Numerous nations, including Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Kalmykia, Dagestan, the Jewish people, and Afghanistan, displayed their respective cultures. Even though there were families representing three distinct religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, there was a strong sense that all people were part of one big family under God. The event moved all the participants, and they all expressed a wish to continue their friendships.
At the conclusion of the show, Darya Ivanova, the winner of the All-Russian competition for exemplary character and lifestyle, "Mister and Miss University 2007," joined the 100 young performers from the festival for the concluding song, "We wish happiness to all of you." Children sang a song wishing everyone global safety, happiness, and peace.
Many of the attendees of the event expressed to the organizers the necessity for such activities during these trying times when many individuals experience dread or depression. It is crucial that we come together, encourage one another, and instill in our children a love for people of all cultural backgrounds and a commitment to perpetual world peace.
