WFWPI Statement on the Passing of Queen Elizabeth II

The Women’s Federation for World Peace International sends heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family at the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II. For seventy years, Queen Elizabeth II maintained her vows to God and country, becoming the longest-serving monarch in British history.

Her humility, sense of humor and compassionate heart have been duly noted by those who knew her. She fulfilled her duties as a world leader in the face of many challenges. She was also an inspiring example of a loving wife, mother and grandmother. 

Beyond traditional barriers of ethnicity or politics, Queen Elizabeth II traveled the world during her reign, bringing people together and helping to reconcile long-standing historical conflicts.

WFWPI’s mission is to encourage women to work together for a more peaceful and happy world. With chapters in 123 nations, including many in the Commonwealth, we are grateful for the life of Queen Elizabeth II. We pray that God will comfort the Royal Family, and we send sincerest wishes for success to the United Kingdom’s new monarch, King Charles III.
