“Unleash Your Potential and Keep Up with Personal Growth in the Post-Pandemic Era” Women’s Empowerment Workshop (WFWP Taiwan)

On April 15, 2023, the Women’s Federation for World Peace in Taiwan (WFWP Taiwan) and the Tsai Hsueh-Ni Charity Public Welfare Foundation of Taipei City co-organized a Women’s Empowerment Workshop at Family Forever in Taipei. The workshop was led by Sandy Su, an international career planner and global senior talent acquisition consultant, on the topic, "Unleash Your Potential and Keep Up with Personal Growth in the Post-Pandemic Era." The workshop focused on assisting young women to understand information, make good judgments, keep up with trends and cultivate independent business skills in the age of information explosion. 

There were approximately thirty participants who took part in the workshop that day. During the program, they were divided into groups where each was tasked with responding to a case study provided to them. This enabled the participants to explore possibilities and evaluate real-life scenarios. This case study learning process also trained participants to think critically and helped them understand the importance of teamwork and communication. Through practical exercises and group discussions, participants honed skills in reading and evaluating business information. This drove them to improve their future business performance and competitiveness.

One testimonial from a participant described her experience as follows:
“The speaker guided us in learning business model analysis and allowed us to discuss case studies using the structure of the Business Model Canvas. This analytical skill can be applied to career planning and future job searches, as it encompasses understanding industries, examining brand distinctions and demonstrating the ability to create value for a company while improving one’s employability. This workshop provided me with many practical skills for the upcoming internships and job opportunities.”

Before the end of the workshop, the speaker Sandy Su emphasized the importance of broadening one’s knowledge by reading to keep updated on the latest information. She suggested that everyone could organize regular gatherings in small groups for book sharing sessions, aiming to inspire and support one another in their personal growth journeys. 

WFWP Taiwan will continue to make efforts in organizing meaningful programs and activities related to women’s empowerment. In August 2023, the first phase of the 2023 Young Women's International Participation Empowerment Training is being planned.
