WFWP Philippines Orientation

Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Philippines, led by Mrs. Almera Grace Mayo, President of WFWP Philippines, conducted an online orientation to nine women in Mindanao on November 7, 2021. The orientation was given by the president herself, as part of the launch for the membership campaign that was planned during their previous Board of Directors meeting with the new leadership. For the upcoming goal, WFWP Philippines is focusing on raising its membership and planning for a creative membership drive.

During the meeting, Mrs. Mayo explained in detail the founding of Women’s Federation for World Peace, its activities and projects at present. Part of her orientation also discussed the current standing of WFWP Philippines and the responsibility it plays and will be playing in the future. She further explained that the purpose of the meeting was to emphasize the membership campaign and expansion. She further talked about the duty that every officer and member of the WFWP will play. There was also a Q&A session where participants actively voiced out their questions which was directly addressed by Mrs. Mayo.

The meeting concluded with the inspired participants expressing their interest and willingness to be part of WFWP and even brainstormed other women leaders who could be invited as well. We hope that we can achieve our goals together by empowering women in our communities and country.
