WFWP Russia Sponsors Online Family Art Contest

From April 1 to June 1, WFWP Russia held an Online Family Art contest entitled, “Angels with Us.” The contest included families from a variety of countries which included: Russia, Moldova, Latvia, Estonia, Armenia and Japan.

The uniqueness of this contest was that the adult members of the family had to draw or paint together with their children. Many families testified that this project helped many families feel closer and happier during the Coronavirus isolation period. Many parents said that even though they hadn’t drawn anything for a long time or maybe didn’t have any talent in drawing they received a lot of joy and inspiration while participating in this project with their children.

The goal of the project was to create art that expressed kindness, warmth, a desire to live for the sake of others, and to also express a desire to build a more loving and peaceful world.
