WFWP Tokyo Hosts Charity Concert for UN International Peace Day

On September 21, WFWP Tokyo hosted a charity concert in honor of the UN International Day of Peace. The goal was to raise money for humanitarian projects in Myanmar and St. Lucia.

Due to the the pandemic, there needed to be a limit to the amount of people who could attend. However, organizers were pleased that 83 people were able to participate. The event did make sure to implement proper social distancing guidelines.

For those who attended, they were very moved by the sound of the marimba that the performers played.

The event concluded with Mr. Yoshimatsu, overseas dispatch member, giving a report on humanitarian efforts that were planned for Myanmar. Then Inaba-San reported on the current activities taking place in St. Lucia.
