WFWP Welcomes Dr. Sun Jin Moon in NY

Following her appointment as Senior Vice President of Women’s Federation for World Peace International in August, Dr. Sun Jin Moon and her husband In Sup Park were warmly welcomed by WFWP USA and WFWP International in the U.S., at the New Yorker Hotel in N.Y.C. on September 1, 2019 at an informal gathering.

Angelika Selle, President of WFWP USA, warmly welcomed Dr. Moon in her new role with cake and a gift. Then Mrs. Selle gave a presentation on the structure, goals and strategy of WFWP USA for Vision 2020 and beyond.

Dr. Moon sincerely thanked everyone and expressed that she hopes to learn from those who were in the room. She was amazed by the incredible work that has been done within the chapters and would like to continue to support all initiatives. She emphasized the importance of women’s work and thanked all the women in attendance for their sacrifice, service, and investment over the past decades. She fielded questions and received an abundance of responses, personal testimonies, and queries- including a request to lead a meditation.

During the Q&A session and testimonies, Dr. Moon listened to each person with respect, understanding, and compassion, and responded with love, sometimes tears, and always with a hug. In closing, Dr. Moon expressed her gratitude for the rich love of the women in WFWP and how much she looks forward to working together for peace.
