Woman and Family Leaders for Building the Ideal Community of Peace (WFWP Thailand)

On December 9, 2020, Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Thailand, in collaboration with the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) had organized a seminar on Woman and Family Leaders for Building the Ideal Community of Peace. The topic was “The Role of True Leaders and the Role of Women in Creating a Peaceful Family and Society.” The seminar took place at Santarat Hall, Taxila Hotel, Mueang District, Mahasarakham Province, Thailand.

The opening remark was given by Mr. Kukrit Rekalap, Senior Deputy District Chief, representative of the District Chief. The keynote speech was given by Dr. Lek ThaweeTermsakul, President of the FFWPU, upon the topic "Head of the Family and Women for Creating a Model of Peace Community.” Side sessions also took place, centered upon the theme, "The Family is the School of Love and Peace."

"The cause of conflict is the family breakdown and we support the promotion of a strong and sustainable family unit," stated Mr. Warakorn Samang, the expert of the FFWPU-Thailand.

The closing remark was given by Dr. Lek Thaveerermsakul, President of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification Foundation. There were 77 participants from various state agencies, such as educational agencies (deans and teachers), the administrative agencies (Sub-district Administration Organization, Sub-district Headman, Village Headman, VHV) and the private sector.
