Connecting with WFWP Leaders Around the World: Meet WFWP North America

On March 22, 2024, Mrs. Kaeleigh Moffitt, WFWP International Vice President of North America and National President of WFWP USA, was invited to present her personal story related to her work in the organization. Her leadership journey began when, as a teen, she organized youth service opportunities in her middle and high school and soon after became a youth pastor for her church at 16.
In 2014 she began working with youth education nationally with FFWPU. In 2019 she became the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for FFWPU and the founding director of the Young Christian Leadership Conference. In 2021, she joined the Universal Peace Federation-USA in the position of Congressional Liaison, focusing on Indo-Pacific security concerns and religious freedom. And now serves as the President of the Women’s Federation for World Peace USA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Operations Management and Family Science from the University of Maryland as well as a Master’s Degree in Peace Studies from the HJ International School for Peace and Public Leadership.
Mrs. Moffitt is a proud wife and mother of three young children. She counts this as her highest achievement and feels if she can be successful in this area of her life, she will have contributed to making a better world.
Mrs. Moffitt also shared details about each of North American WFWP’s projects and activities. while her leadership journey with WFWP has only just begun, the impact she has already had on the community and the nation is tremendous. With her humble personality and bright, energetic leadership, she has helped to build a generation of young women into the organization by spreading the vision of the co-founders and sharing with others her own life experiences gained through her work with the organization. Mrs. Moffitt has also built a strong platform and creative network of influential women professionals and women leaders in various fields through the development of the Global Women's Peace Network and regular nominations for the HerStory Awards. She created a safe and harmonious environment for women to live in peace together by organizing "Bridges for Peace" ceremonies throughout the United States to change hearts and minds to live for each other with unconditional love.
Mrs. Moffitt’s vision is to create communities that support women in their journey of womanhood and bring together women leaders to transform the local communities. After the presentation, many in the audience couldn't help but become fans of the new leadership and thanked the presenter for bringing a new concept and wave to WFWP.
*Starting in 2023, the Women’s Federation for World Peace International launched a new initiative “Connecting with WFWP Leaders Around the World” to provide a unique opportunity to strengthen the connection between WFWP leaders and members from across the globe. This initiative, by inviting WFWP leaders to speak about their remarkable activities and projects, fostered a deeper understanding of our organization, its work, and most importantly, the global impact WFWP has on the world.
