Giving from the Heart (WFWP Malta)

On Sunday, November 28, 2021, WFWP Malta had the great honor of welcoming Ms. Ana Caruana, a renowned Maltese Philanthropist and Founder of Mission Gambia Malta, as the guest speaker at WFWP Malta’s monthly event in Valletta. The title of her talk was “Giving from the Heart.”

Ms. Caruana, coming from a big family and being the youngest of 12 siblings, shared her amazing testimony, explaining how she felt called to work with one of the smallest and poorest countries in Africa. She started her mission singlehandedly just seven years ago. As she became known for her passionate love and dedicated work for her mission country, people began to contribute generously towards her cause.

Twice a year, Ms. Caruana accompanies containers full of clothes, medicine, educational material, food, etc, to make sure provisions are delivered to the proper place and used by those intended for.

Ms. Caruana has also built a Kindergarten school attended by 50 children. Not only are those children educated at the school but they are also fed and clothed. During her last visit in September 2021, she personally oversaw the redevelopment of boreholes for the provision of a much-needed clean water supply.

Ms. Caruana was able to inspire and was a source of light and energy for all who were present for her talk. She is truly an amazing woman, full of emotion, zeal, enthusiasm and sincere love for what she does best, which is “Giving from the Heart.”

WFWP Malta in collaboration with the Universal Peace Federation, presented Ms. Ana Caruana with the “Ambassador for Peace” Award, in recognition for her prestigious voluntary and missionary work.
