"The Light of Love to Never Stop Glowing" Celebrating 32 Years of Unity: WFWPI Virtual Anniversary Celebration

On April 6, 2024, the Women’s Federation for World Peace International (WFWPI) marked a significant milestone with its 32nd Anniversary Celebration, held virtually via Zoom. This special occasion brought together members, supporters and leaders from around the world to honor the vision of peace and unity fostered by the organization’s co-founders, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and Dr. Sun Myung Moon.

Under the theme "The Light of Love to Never Stop Glowing," the anniversary celebration resonated with warmth and unity. Participants gathered virtually to partake in a series of enriching programs designed to commemorate this auspicious event and celebrate the enduring spirit of love and harmony that defines WFWPI’s global mission.

The evening commenced with an uplifting opening statement by Dr. Paris Moon, International Secretary General of WFWP IHQ, setting the tone for an evening of reflection and celebration. International President Mrs. Moriko Hori delivered heartfelt congratulatory remarks, acknowledging the achievements and dedication of WFWPI members worldwide.

A highlight of the celebration was a mesmerizing dance performance titled "Soeng kratip," presented by WFWP Thailand. This traditional folk dance, organized by the Bachelor of Fine Arts Folk Music and Performance Art from Khon Kaen University, captivated viewers with its cultural richness and artistic expression, symbolizing unity and community spirit.

Participants also engaged in a lively and interactive "Meet and Greet" breakout session, fostering personal connections and exchanging warm congratulations with international colleagues and friends. This session exemplified the global reach and inclusive spirit of WFWPI, bringing together individuals committed to advancing peace and social harmony.

A touching moment of the event was the screening of a compilation of congratulatory videos sent by WFWP chapters and members from around the world. In recognition of exemplary service, the WFWPI Outstanding Volunteer Awards honored dedicated volunteers who have made significant contributions to the organization’s mission. Awards were presented in categories recognizing years of service, ranging from 30 to 10 years, highlighting the commitment and passion of volunteers worldwide.
