Together for Tonga: True Love in Action

Just last week, there was an eruption of an underwater volcano near Tonga, which was likely the biggest recorded anywhere on the planet in more than 30 years. Tonga is a Polynesian country of more than 170 South Pacific islands and home to about 100,000 people. The people of Tonga are facing a critical situation from the aftermath of the eruption and need our help.

WFWP Australia has teamed up with UPF (Universal Peace Federation) & YSP (Youth & Students for Peace) for the Together for Tonga Go Fund Me campaign.

The Together for Tonga project is urgently raising funds until the end of February. It is until this time that there is an opportunity to send goods with free transportation, to help people with immediate needs due to crops being destroyed and all open water reservoirs being polluted (due to heavy ashfall). Funds will purchase water, food and essential needs which will be purchased and loaded onto a ship bound for Tonga.
