On January 11, the Women's Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Russia held its Fifth Intercultural Festival, "Children Are Angels of Peace."
More than 100 children from diverse national backgrounds took part, representing the cultures of Russia, Armenia, Syria, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Tatarstan, the Republic of Mari El, and Kalmykia. Their performances were outstanding—bright, colorful, and sophisticated, reflecting the richness of their heritage.
The festival's central theme, "Peace and love toward all people on our planet," emphasized the importance of intercultural cooperation, mutual support, and friendship among different nationalities.
Many distinguished partners from NGOs working with multicultural communities attended to support the event and shared inspiring speeches. The performances deeply moved the audience, with many expressing their emotions:
“Thank you very much for such a wonderful, dignified festival! The quality was outstanding! We are always happy to participate and cherish our friendship with you. We love you and are proud of you! This festival will always remain in our hearts.”
“I had tears in my eyes throughout. This was a breathtaking and inspiring event that should pave the way for a cultural transformation rooted in spiritual and moral values.”
This festival stands as a testament to WFWP’s long-standing and fruitful collaboration with the many nationalities represented in Russia.
