Women’s Partnership Outreach (WFWP Kenya)

WFWP Kenya has scheduled various meetings for the VIP outreach with the goal of networking with women leaders who are creating social impact in their communities and in their nations.
On January 18, 2022, WFWP Kenya officials comprising of Dr. Susan Kone, Mrs. Jacinta Kalama and Mrs. Wivine Omware welcomed Dr. Karambu Ringera in the office and had an exceptional meeting with her. Dr. Karambu is the Founder of the Global Peace Initiative, the Tiriji Foundation and the New Generation Leaders (NGL) Program. She is dedicated to supporting and funding initiatives that mitigate the effects of war, disease, poverty and discrimination.
Dr. Karambu has used her extensive academic background and international experience working in many countries, to design and implement models of ethical leadership, effective community engagement, women’s grassroots, empowerment programs, sustainable peace and development, pre-emptive and post-conflict reconciliation, proactive health campaigns and a successful, working model of “Amani homes,” a community of homes for orphans and vulnerable children.
For her work in uplifting orphans and women living with HIV/Aids, Dr. Karambu was awarded the 2019 Global Impact Award by Well Aware. In 2015 she was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by her alma mater, the University of Denver. She was also awarded the 2015 Master Scholar Award from the University of Denver for her contribution to Educational Excellence through her motivational talks and programs that empower students to use their education for community transformation.
Dr. Karambu is also a peace expert and she has been active as a panelist in WFWPI Webinars as well as in International First Ladies for Peace sessions. Dr. Karambu has been a good friend and partner and to mark her visit to WFWP Kenya, officials presented her with a bouquet of flowers and the memoir of the co-founder of WFWP, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. She is thrilled to work and partner with WFWP as she also believes in women's leadership and the spirit of Living by the Logic of Love through service to humanity.
