Support for Ukrainian Refugees (WFWP Hungary)

WFWP members in Szeged City, Hungary, sought to help the brothers and sisters in Ukraine. Through fundraising, WFWP Hungary raised donations amounting to HUF 110,000. These funds were used to buy durable food, bandages, disinfectants and hygiene products. In response to the call of the House of Nations in Szeged City, WFWP Hungary took the donations which were purchased to Ukrainian refugees on March 7, based on the list prepared and offered them to the Hungarian Red Cross.

Although this is a small contribution and the fundraiser had just begun, WFWP Hungary will continue to work together as an NGO to support people who are especially facing difficult situations.

Our upcoming event we have planned is the WFWP 30th Anniversary Program which will be held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, on April 9, 2022. In addition, many refugees still continue to arrive from Ukraine to Hungary, so we hope to continue supporting and raising the impact of our support.
