Training Workshop on Gender and Empowerment, Equity, Inclusion and Equality

The National President of WFWP Côte d’Ivoire took part in a training on Gender and Empowerment organized by the UNESCO chair on the committee on Water, Women and Decision-making. This training aimed to strengthen female leadership skills.

During the training, participants gained practical knowledge on leadership skills such as decision-making, effective communication, conflict management, problem solving and strategic planning. The participants also shared experiences and leadership practices in their respective contexts and UNESCO chair, Minister Euphrasie Yao Kouassi, also an Ambassador for Peace and honorary member of WFWP Côte d'Ivoire, gave the opportunity to the President of WFWP Côte d’Ivoire to present about the organization and its vision to the entire assembly.

Upon completion of the training, each participant earned a certificate from UNESCO. The training organized by the UNESCO chair was beneficial for the participants and as a result WFWP Côte d’Ivoire plans to hold a major awareness campaign in 40 schools, called “Tour 40.”
